I always make it a point that I attend technical-cum-fun events as much as I can. Here are a few of them.
I was given the opportunity to appear as a speaker for Beyond Glass Barriers 2022 (BGB’22), a national workshop for women in engineering organized by the IEEE Malabar Subsection, aimed to empower students and professionals, to identify and overcome the glass barriers that they may have to face, especially in the area of engineering and technology.
I took a session called 'Let's get real about barriers', which focused on helping the participants identify the glass barriers they had faced/were facing at that point of time and in inspiring them to come together and brainstorm on possible steps that they may take in order to overcome those challenges.
Excelsior is the flagship event of IEEE Student Branch GEC Palakkad. I took a technical workshop on 'Getting started with chatbot development using Dialogflow', which aimed at providing a kickstart to chatbot development using the Natural language Understanding platform to design and create conversational UI, DialogFlow.
Over 30+ students from various engineering colleges across Kerala, attended the workshop. Through the workshop, we ended up building and deploying 5 functioning chatbots aimed at solving real-world problems.
